We're expanding our team and seeking experienced Python/Javascript Engineers with full-stack capabilities for our front-end applications powered by a robust Django API hosted on AWS. At this early stage, you'll have the opportunity to shape the foundation of development practices and engineering culture at TFA.

Location: Full-time remote position, must be in the United States.

Who We Serve

The Futures App is a B2B software platform built for businesses in Youth Sports. Our customers are primarily youth sports clubs — small- to mid-sized organizations that train, develop, and manage athletes across baseball, softball, and other sports.

Our Product

Our goal is simple: to be the only tool a youth sports business needs to operate.

TFA combines three core pillars of a sports business into one modern platform:

1. Training - assignable workouts, video analysis, and player development tools
2. Communication - messaging, team coordination, and CRM-lite functionality
3. Commerce - registrations, memberships, lessons, bookings, and payments

Traction

Since launching in 2022, we’ve grown to serve hundreds of organizations, tens of thousands of users, and generate seven figures in ARR - driven by rapid adoption in the youth sports market.

Fundraising

TFA has raised over $9 million in venture capital from leading investors including Soul Venture Partners and Entrada Ventures.

Objectives of This Role

• Spearhead the development and maintenance of features in Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and Django applications.
• Strategically plan and execute tasks, balancing detail-oriented focus with broader project perspectives.
• Contribute to high standards in code quality and innovation through constructive code reviews.
• Be a communication champion, simplifying complex concepts and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Embrace professional growth with a commitment to learning and facing challenges.

Your Responsibilities

• Skillfully craft and maintain features across our Django Backend API, and Vue.js & Nuxt.js frontend applications with capability to contribute to Python Django backend.
